Today APM is a dynamic reality capable to satisfy the different requirements for quality and processing control of polymer materials. APM cooperates with many companies by applying methods for the determination of the chemical-physical, rheological, thermomechanical and morphological properties of thermoplastic polymers, elastomers and thermosets and UV-cured polymer materials. In APM there are also skills for controlling and optimizing polymer processing, such as extrusion of mono-oriented and bubble films, injection molding and rotational molding and the production of polymer blends. In recent years, APM has developed, in collaboration with some Italian companies, polymer blends for rotational molding, new adhesives for coating and protecting metal and glass surfaces and applications with monomers and polymers derived from renewable resources.
